By booking and allowing our team to wash your vehicle at your property, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

If you do not accept these terms, please cancel your appointment before the wash begins

Vehicle Condition & Liability

By proceeding, you confirm that your vehicle is in suitable condition for washing. Our team will perform a standard wash using professional techniques and equipment. However, we are not liable for any damage or loss resulting from the wash process, including but not limited to:

  • Pre-existing damage of any kind
  • Fixed or non-retractable aerials
  • Wipers, trims, mirrors, or number plates
  • Loose or damaged interior parts (buttons, knobs, etc.)
  • Windscreen accessories (e-tags, GPS devices, etc.)
  • Open windows, sunroofs, or faulty seals
  • Cracked, chipped, or tinted windows
  • Oxidised, flaking, or chipped paint
  • Aftermarket or modified parts
  • Automatic locks, alarms, or kill switches
  • Bonnet/headlight protectors, mudflaps, bumpers
  • Flat batteries, faulty ignitions, or mechanical issues
  • Vehicle graphics, decals, or wraps
  • Scratches or marks on rims, bull bars, or roll bars
  • Any damage caused by vehicle movement during service

Your Responsibility

You accept full responsibility for any damage or loss to your vehicle during or after the wash process. Please ensure your vehicle is secure and all personal items are removed prior to service.

1. Definitions

  • “We/Us/Our”: Bakker Mobile Detailing, provider of mobile car wash and detailing services in Canberra  and surrounding areas.

  • “Customer/You/Your”: the individual or legal entity receiving our services.

  • “Services”: all car cleaning and detailing services provided by us.


2. Services

2.1 We provide services at the customer’s nominated location, provided the location is safe and suitable.
2.2 We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule services in the event of unsafe or unsuitable conditions (e.g., lack of water supply, hazardous surface, extreme weather).


3. Booking and Cancellation

3.1 Bookings are binding once confirmed verbally or in writing.
3.2 Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service. Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee of AUD $80.
3.3 We reserve the right to reschedule bookings in the event of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances.


4. Prices and Payment

4.1 All prices are exclusive of GST, unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Payment is required immediately upon completion of the service via [cash / bank transfer / card / online payment].
4.3 In case of late payment, we reserve the right to charge interest and/or recovery costs.


5. Customer Responsibilities

5.1 The customer must ensure free access to the vehicle and provide a safe and suitable location.
5.2 The customer must remove personal belongings from the vehicle prior to service.
5.3 The customer must disclose any pre-existing damage to the vehicle prior to service.


6. Liability

6.1 We are not liable for:

  • pre-existing damage to the vehicle or its accessories;

  • damage arising from defective parts, poor condition of the vehicle, or aggravation of existing faults;

  • loss of or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
    6.2 Our liability is, to the extent permitted by law, limited to the amount invoiced for the service.
    6.3 Nothing in these terms limits the customer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).


7. Warranty and Complaints

7.1 We provide services using reasonable care and skill.
7.2 If you are not satisfied, you must notify us within 24 hours of completion via email Simon@BakkerMobileDetailing.com.au or cell +61 (490) 928914
7.3 If a complaint is valid, we will provide rework or a proportional refund in accordance with the ACL.


8. Additional Charges

8.1 If a vehicle is excessively soiled (e.g., mud, pet hair, stains), we reserve the right to apply a surcharge.
8.2 Any additional charges will be communicated to the customer in advance.


9. Governing Law

9.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
9.2 Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Canberra.


10. Amendments

10.1 We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time.
10.2 The most up-to-date version will always be available upon request or on our website.
